Rhoscolyn Cliffs – Summer of Anglesey Wildlife Walks – July

Rhoscolyn Cliffs and Headlands Wednesday 17th July, 10 am – 12.30pm.

Join this beautiful walk at St. Gwenfaen’s church, Rhoscolyn. We will walk past the dramatic cliffs enjoying the stunning views to Snowdonia and across to Holyhead mountain. Interesting wild flowers will be identified along the route, with their Welsh names and traditional uses. We have a great chance of viewing peregrine and chough and possibly seals. We pass St. Gwenfaen’s well and the high point where the national Coast Watch is based. The walk proceeds down to the beautiful beach at Rhoscolyn with its idyllic white cottages and returns to the church.

We can have coffee on the terrace at the White Eagle pub – if you feel inclined.

Standard half day walk price £15 per adult. (Discount available for group and family bookings.)
