Summer of Anglesey Wildlife Walks, July – Seal Picnic

Saturday 13th and Saturday 27th July from 12 – 2.30pm

Walk through the beautiful heathland to the far tip of the range (Penrhosfeilw Common, near South Stack). We will sit overlooking the tide-race and have a picnic – a great place to watch seals and sometimes gannets too. Other bird life includes the rare chough, stonechats, linnets, skylark and meadow pipits. The heather will be coming into flower with lovely purple and mauve flowers. Learn about the different traditional uses of the plants. We may also see the rare silver studded blue butterfly.

This walk is suitable for families, there are only 12 places available, so please book ahead.
