Sunset & Puffins – Summer of Anglesey Wildlife Walks – July

Sunset and Puffins – from South Stack Lighthouse steps. Wednesday 24th July, 7pm.

Probably one of the last chances to catch a glimpse of puffins this year. One of the last seabirds to leave the cliffs, puffins can usually be seen until early August, especially in the evenings when they often stand outside their burrows or loaf about on the water. The closest views of puffins are from the lighthouse steps. Also fabulous views of amazing rock folding, South Stack lighthouse and on a clear evening the distant Wicklow mountains of Ireland.

This activity is suitable for families.
Please book early as only small groups feasible for this activity.

Sunset Wildlife Walk around Holyhead mountain (from South Stack) Friday 26th July. 8pm.
Come out walking when everyone else has gone home! The evenings are long and light and Holyhead mountain is completely unique and beautiful. Despite being close to Holyhead, the mountain has a feeling of wild remoteness. To reach the summit there is a small scramble and the back of the mountain has beautiful sheltered and hidden paths. Enjoy breathtaking views, wildflowers, chough and heathland birds.
Prices
Family group of 2 adults and up to 3 children £20.
