Winter Solstice Wildlife Walk – Saturday 21st December

To celebrate the shortest day – walk the beautiful coast from the range (between Trearddur Bay and South Stack, explore the hut circles and enjoy the setting sun (if there is any) from South Stack cliffs.
At this time of year there is still a lot of wildlife to see! The rare chough is resident all year along this coast, ravens are active and small heathland birds such as stonechat can also be seen. I am regularly seeing seals on my coastal walks and sightings of porpoise and dolphin are also possible.
It is great to get out walking during the winter, make space for Christmas food and lift your winter spirits by being out in nature!
We will lift-share back to our cars after the walk. You can have a hot drink and cake in the RSPB cafe afterwards if you wish.
Adults £12, with concessions available for bookings for two or more people.
Meet at the Range car park 1.30 pm, this is a walk of 2 – 3 hours.
Booking Essential via email (info@angleseywildlifewalks.com) or phone (07725174087).
